At a crossroads
Here's a little peek at a painting I'm working on. It feels really, really good to be painting again! The working title is "Peony and Pastry."
I still don't have many words to share here, but I found this wonderful video this morning and thought you might enjoy it, too. The combination of art and music is so beautiful.
I'm still finding myself at a bit of a crossroads lately. Being online on facebook and here on blogger in the way I have been for the past few years is no longer rewarding or satisfying to me. I feel that way about other things I've been doing in my life, as well. It seems to be a good time to reassess where my time and efforts would be best spent.
Everything is up in the air right now. All I know at this point is that family and art, as well as humanitarian and environmental issues, are what I care about most. I continue to explore where my interests and loves will lead me.
This quote by Anais Nin struck a real chord with me this week.
I'm in the mood for marvelous. I no longer want to settle for less.
