Finally, a new post

"Wolf"
colored pencil
1990s

I came across this interesting video on Tumblr today and felt it was worth sharing.

It's been a long cold, winter here, but I'm not complaining because others have had it far worse.  I haven't created any new art in months, and I don't know what the next few months will bring.  I haven't given up on art, I've just needed a break.

View from our kitchen window

I'm hoping to see the first signs of spring someday soon.

  1. Hello there Angela! Oh your gorgeous eyed wolf...I would not be scared to encounter such a sweet looking creature. I love your kitchen view...wow! The video was so interesting. Thank you for sharing that. We have been to Yellowstone once and hope to go again some day. My dog came running to me at the very start of the video...the howling really got his attention. He ran to me and then to the window looking for them. So funny.

Enjoy your rest and all that you do Angela. Good to "see you". :) xo

    1. Hello Lisa! I've adored wolves ever since I was a very little girl! Your comment about your dog's reaction to the video made me smile. Our sweet old dog used to do the same thing whenever he heard animal sounds on the tv. :) I've only been to Yellowstone once. What a gorgeous place! I'd LOVE to see it again.

It's good to "see" you, too! :) xo

  2. Those lulls are often following by wonderful new energy. :-)

Beautiful sight from your kitchen window.

    1. Thank you for your comment Morna. :) Yes, I believe you're right about a new energy following this lull. I've been trying to leave myself open to rediscover some of that wonderful spontaneous creativity I enjoyed as a child. If I'm lucky enough to find it again, I'm not letting it get away again this time! :)

We do have such a beautiful view of the sunrise from our kitchen window. It never ceases to amaze me how each one is different, and how each one is fleetingly spectacular.
